About Handyman Innisfil

Handyman Innisfil is a small crew based in the town, working the subdivisions in Alcona, the shoreline from Gilford to Big Bay Point, the villages inland, and Cookstown across the highway. We finish basements, build decks and fences, renovate bathrooms, and do the repairs and seasonal upkeep in between. The electrician and the plumber are people we book, not jobs we pretend to do.

Why We Are Based Here

Search for a handyman in Innisfil and the results are directories and businesses in Barrie, Newmarket and Toronto with an Innisfil page on their site. All of them are driving in, and the trip is in the quote whether it says so or not. We are close enough to check a cottage on the way home.

What We Will Not Do

Run wire, move pipe or touch gas; those belong to licensed trades in Ontario. Finish a basement without a permit, build on a shoreline lot without the conservation authority's clearance, or set a fence above the by-law because the neighbour's is. When a job needs a permit, a trade or an engineer, we tell you before we price it and give you the name.

What You Can Hold Us To

A written price before we start, with the trades' portions and any permit costs on their own lines. A date we keep, and a call if weather or an inspection moves it. A deposit of no more than ten percent, which is what the province recommends. Photos of the finished work before you see the invoice. A callback the same business day. Our coverage, area by area, is on the service areas page.
