Drywall Repair & Patching in Innisfil, ON

We patch holes, fix cracks, replace water-damaged board and ceilings, and board and tape entire rooms when needed.

What the Job Involves

Repairing small patches or doorknob holes or thinngs that crack over time. Maybe a sections of a ceiling cut out after a leak.

Nail Pops and Water Stains

A house built a few years ago is still drying out, and the drywall might show a row of bumps along every stud. We reset each pop with a new screw an inch away and fill both, a room at a time so the paint matches. A stained ceiling is the easy part; before we open it we want to know the leak has stopped, and we find the source or tell you who should.

What Affects the Price

The number of patches, the size of the largest, ceiling versus wall, texture matching, and whether we paint the patch or the whole wall. One patch is two short visits; a room may be a few days.

Drywall FAQs

  • Can you patch and paint the same day?

Not if you want it to disappear. Mud needs to dry between coats, so a patch is two short visits, or one with a setting compound on a smaller hole.

  • Will the patch show?

Now it will not show if the whole wall is painted. A patch painted on its own shows in raking light. We price both.

  • Our new house has nail pops everywhere. Is that normal?

Yes, in the first two or three years. Some fall under the builder's warranty, and we tell you which to send to them first.

  • Do you do the ceiling after a leak?

Yes, once the leak is fixed. We cut out the wet board, let it dry, replace the insulation, and board, tape and paint.
