Fence Building & Repair in Innisfil, ON

We build privacy, boundary and pool fences to the township's by-law heights, and we also reset posts, install gates and replace panels on fences the frost and the wind have worked on.

What the Job Involves

Posts set in concrete four feet down on eight-foot centres, with pressure-treated, cedar or vinyl panels between them, and gates on adjustable hinges that still latch next spring. Repairs: a heaved post dug out and reset, a rotted post replaced, a sagging gate re-hung, a panel replaced after a windstorm. New cedar gets stained after a season.

What Affects the Price

Length, material, height, the number of gates, and the ground. Sandy soil digs fast; clay and roots do not. Quoted by the linear foot with the gate count listed. A deck can go on the same quote, and staining can be a maintenance visit.

Fence FAQs

  • Do we need the neighbour's agreement?

Not if it's on your property. We stake it inside your property from the survey pins.

  • Can you fix a leaning fence without replacing it?

Often. We reset the post in fresh concrete below frost and re-attach the panels. If more than a third of the posts have gone, a rebuild will cost less.

  • How deep do you set the posts?

Four feet, below the frost line. A shallower post heaves in March and the fence leans by May.

  • Does a pool fence need a permit?

Yes, before construction. We build and file to the Town's pool enclosure package.
